SUMMARY:implemented an awareness session on solid waste management
DESCRIPTION:Al-Ribat Development Association\, in coordination with the Municipality of Beit El-Foqs\, implemented an awareness session on solid waste management for young men and women in Beit El-Foqs. The session was held in the presence of the Mayor\, members of the Municipal Council\, and the village mukhtars. It included group work activities for the youth and a presentation of five environmental initiatives. \nThe presentation was taken from the RAMAL project\, implemented by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in unions of municipalities across Lebanon.
